sun-soaked summer season. From the auditory pleasures of live music, to
the visual excitement of big screen movie magic and the taste of the
first fresh produce of the season, there is plenty to choose from to

CONCERT SERIES
Music in the Courtyard 1st Thursdays at Cameron Art Museum This
summer music series, hosted by the Cameron Art Museum features an
eclectic mix of Soul, Dance and Blues set in the lovely museum
courtyard. With such inspiring local talent, you'll be tempted to dance
the night away! Parking is readily available in the museum lot and the
building remains open until 9pm on Thursdays. CAM's Cafe will be open
for evening meals and refreshments as well, featuring a special
signature drink in celebration of the courtyard series. Season runs May 2

Jazz at the Mansion 1st Thursdays at Bellamy Mansion This
summer music series, presented by Bellamy Mansion and the Cape Fear
Jazz Society, features the smooth sounds of local jazz with the historic
Bellamy Mansion as the backdrop! Bring your blankets and chairs, pack a
picnic and enjoy a relaxing evening on the mansion lawn. Wine and beer
are available for purchase and the mansion provides some additional
seating. Free parking is available in the mansion's adjacent parking lot
as well as on the street. Proceeds benefit Cape Fear Jazz Society and

Boardwalk Blast Music Thursdays at Carolina Beach This
fifteen-week free summer concert series, part of Carolina Beach's
Boardwalk Blast Summer Events, is a favorite for locals and visitors of
all ages! Featuring local and regional bands of all types and a sunset
fi reworks display, there is plenty to keep you entertained. The nearby
amusement park is open until 11pm and there are plenty of food vendors
to choose from on the Boardwalk. Limited parking is available on the
street and in nearby lots. Series runs from May 24 - August 30. June

Sounds of Summer Thursdays at Wrightsville Beach This
free outdoor music series, presented by WECT and the Town of
Wrightsville Beach, is the perfect ending to a summer afternoon! A
favorite for residents and visitors alike, the series features all types
of music and an array of local talent. Pack a picnic, bring your
blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of live music and family
fun at Wrightsville Beach Park. Convenient free parking is readily
available in the lot nearby and local police are often on hand to direct
traffic. Series runs from June 13 - August 8. June 13: The 360

Airlie Gardens Concerts 1st & 3rd Fridays at Airlie Gardens This
popular summer concert series hosted by Airlie Gardens is always a
blast! Bring the whole family along, put on your dancing shoes and enjoy
the sounds of Wilmington's premier musicians set admidst the lovely
southern gardens. Pack a tasty picnic to enjoy under the big Airlie oak
or choose from the food and beverages available for purchase on site.
Alcohol is permitted and beer and wine is available for purchase as
well. Parking is available off-site with a free shuttle provided from

Pleasure Island Concerts 2nd & 4th Fridays at Kure Beach Combining
sun, sand and outdoor fun makes this free concert series a family
favorite! Presented by the Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce and the
Town of Kure Beach, this sixweek series showcases all of your favorite
local bands. So bring a blanket and chairs and pack a picnic to enjoy
seaside as you boogie the night away! Beverages will be available for
purchase and limited nearby street parking is available. No coolers or

Music on the Town Fridays at Mayfaire Town Center This
thirteen-week free outdoor concert series, hosted by Mayfaire Town
Center is the perfect way to kick off the weekend! With a diverse
line-up of bands ranging from Classic Rock and Beach Music to Country,
Blues and everything in between; there is sure to be something for
everyone! Pack a picnic, grab takeout from one of Mayfaire's many
eateries or choose from the consessions available for purchase at the
event field. Sponsors offer plenty of activities for kids including
inflatable bounce castles, slides and tasty treats. Beer, wine and pets
are also welcome. There is plenty of free parking available in the lot
nearby and the shopping center stays open until 9pm. Be sure to arrive
early on the first Friday of the month when the first one hundred
attendees receive goodie bags full of exclusive coupons, gifts and free
samples from fabulous Mayfaire stores and restaurants! Series runs from

Downtown Sundown Fridays at Riverfront Park This
free downtown concert series, presented by Wilmington Downtown, Inc. is
a local favorite, delivering musical mayhem every Friday night
overlooking the Cape Fear River. Featuring a variety of original and
cover bands, both local and regional, there is sure to be something for
everyone! Beer, wine and food are available for purchase and guests are
welcome to bring chairs, as the venue provides mostly standing room.
Paid parking is available in nearby parking decks as well as on the
street. Wristbands will be sold at each event for those who wish to
drink alcohol, with a portion of proceeds benefiting various local
charities. No coolers, outside beverages or pets allowed. Series runs

Magazine, the seaside restaurant offers a casual American menu with a

by Regal Cinema, this nine-week summer series offers family-friendly

proceeds from ticket sales will benefi t the Will Rogers Institute in

fifteen-week free outdoor movie series, hosted by the Town of Carolina
